HERD OF HORSES CORTIJO OLIVERA

  

   This cattle ranch, founded by D. Francisco Olivera Bermúdez, it is established in Alcalá de Guadaira (click for picture) in 1961, with some mares coming from Military herd of horses, but it is not until 1975 when it begins to extend; first, with mares from D. Javier Buendía Peña and later from Mr. Marqués de Casa Oriol, getting mares from Military herd of horses until get two breeding stallions; Granadino XI 1978, from D. Miguel García Diéguez, Leviton and Granadina VII’s colt, from D. Javier García Romero y Guadalimar, from González Estrada, emblem of the house, champion of all the morphologic contests that it presented.

    Tell Cortijo Olivera in the world of PRE is synonymous of quality and tradition.
After the death of D. Francisco, in June of 2003, it has been branded by his widow, Dña. Josefina Varo Alamo and his nephew José Varo Garrido.
